Lares Valley trek - alternative Inca Trail trekking.
The Lares Valley trek is a great alternative for people that are interested in an authentic view of life in the highlands of Peru.
The Lares Valley is well known for its textiles and alpacas. The trek itself is at high altitude with the highest pass at approximately 4,400m finishing in the inviting hot springs of Lares town.
You then continue to Aguas Calientes to visit Machu Picchu where can explore the magic of the Lost City of the Incas.
