Guyana is land of pristine rainforest and abundant wildlife - and a birdwatcher’s paradise.
From the elusive cock-of-the-rock to the harpy eagle, ovenbirds to flycatchers, there is much to see as you cruise on rivers and trek in virgin jungle areas.
The tour is led by Andy Narine, founder of Guyana Amazon Tropical Birds (GETB). His expertise in the area has been acquired on many research expeditions in Guyana.
The interior is lush and there are few visitors. Those that travel there are afforded the warmest of welcomes, be it in a camp, a jungle lodge or a ranch.
