“Best of Buenos Aires” Food Experiences

These are alternative and great ways to experience the burgeoning fine cuisine and food of Argentina’s capital, Buenos Aires.

The Argentine experience

Treat yourself to three hours among the finest food and wines of Argentina.

This is not a cooking class, but you will learn how to make empanadas and the traditional repulgue technique, eat the finest steak and pair wines with the food as you go.

Choose from our gourmet fillings and create your own empanada learning the traditional ‘repulgue’ technique.

Wine tasting at Casa Coupage

Paired with fine food or simply tasting, two sommeliers take you on a fine wine amble through one of the finest cellars in the capital.

This was the first private wine club to be established in the city, and with only nine tables, it must be reserved in advance.

Anuva Wines

A little bit of it all here, with five wines paired with five classic Argentine dishes in the Spanish tapa form.

The sommeliers are known for their wit and generous pourings from vineyards you may not have heard of.

Wine & Cheese tasting at Park Hyatt-Palacio Duhau

This is indulgent – luxury palace hotel with more than 7,000 bottle and 400 different labels – with cheese to go with them.

Located on the ground floor of the Palace, La Vinoteca is a private space where the wines served are accompanied by a variety of specially selected cheeses from the ‘Cheese Room’ and served by our maître fromager.

The cheeses can be enjoyed with a selection of nuts, breads and homemade jams, Iberian ‘Pata Negra’ ham – cured for 14 months, especially for the hotel.
