Patagonia, the End of the Earth, is a land of wilderness. The amazing collection of soaring granite spires and vast glaciers of Paine National Park and the Fitzroy mountains offer awesome panoramas and perfect oportunities for adventure treks and expeditions.
The South Patagonian Ice Field, a vast icy wilderness, is exceeded in scale only by Antarctica and Greenland. Here the Ice Age has not ended.
Patagonian Fauna, is unique. Inland are large colonies of Andean condor, guanaco and rhea . Meanwhile, the shoreline hosts colonies of sea lions, penguins, cormorants and southern right whales and orcas.
The Climate
Patagonia is known for the inclemency of its climate. For long summer days the best time to visit is in the Southern hemisphere late spring, summer or early autumn months (October to March). For cold, crisp winter days, with few people about and increased chances of spotting the elusive puma try our August departure.
