Trekking in Colombia

Trekking across Colombia is as varied and rewarding as the country itself.

Hikers will love the remote treks in Los Nevados, near the coffee region of Cocora, among the Paramó and strange frailejones plants, while staying at local 'fincas' with the farmers who cling to their traditional way of life.

For ruins, the Lost City trek on the Caribbean coast, next to Tayrona National Park, offer the chance to visit some ancient sites. A shorter day hike to El Pueblito, a still inhabited indigenous village, more than merits a visti.

The dramatic El Cocoy National park to the north of Bogota is on the Colombia's more remote parks.

Here, you'll enjoy high altitude trekking with huge Andean peaks capped by ice and glaciers in spectacular countryside.

We also offer a series of day walks and tailor made treks in the south, around San Augustin, an area full of archaeological wonders.
