Community Projects

Andean Trails is proactive in supporting several NGOs and charities based in the UK and in our destination countries as we believe tourism should make a positive impact in the communities and landscapes where we work.

Andean Trails donates a percentage of its profits to the following social and community projects. Each year we give a total of approximately USD 6000 to community projects in Peru: Huchuy Yachaq; Amantani; and ECOAN. We are also members of Galapagos Conservation Trust, John Muir Trust, Rainforest Concern, the LATA Foundation and Tourism Concern. Please see details of individual projects and organisations below. Several of the projects actively encourage volunteers, so if you fancy contributing as a volunteer then please ask us how best to organise this.
