An exhilarating grade three and four rapid whitewater rafting trip. On the serene stretches of water, there is the chance to see river otters.
The Rio Toachi and the Rio Blanco are located on the western slope of the Ecuadorian Andes and have beautiful subtropical forest waiting for you. There is the option to camp or spend the night at a local hotel.
Day 1
We leave Quito and head down to Santo Domingo (approx. 2,5 hours). Here, we prepare our equipment and get safety instructions. Then on to the water - passing through pristine jungle canyons and exciting rapids before camping/hotel.
Day 2
After breakfast we return to the river. Bigger rapids and waves are made for another thrilling day. At the end of this run we head back to Quito.
What’s included:
Professional guides, complete rafting and group camping equipment (or hotel), all meals on the river, transport from Quito to the river and back.
