The Iguazu or Iguazzu falls are one of Argentina’s and indeed South America’s finest attractions.
The falls line the rim of a crescent-shaped cliff about 2.5 miles long. Around 275 individual cascades and waterfalls plummet up to 269 feet into the gorge below.
The thunderous roaring of Iguazu can be heard from miles away.
You can stay for longer - there are many attractions at Iguazu. Water sports enthusiasts can find good canoeing and kayaking above the Falls. There is also considerable interesting sub tropical rainforest and there are plenty of big cats in the region.
