Family Holidays in Colombia

Our Family Holidays in Colombia are totally flexible and can be adapted to exactly suit your family.

We offer adventure and activities for younger kids from aged 6 upwards, teenagers and parents alike, and with the vast variety of activities available in Colombia narrowing down the options might be the biggest problem.

Main highlights

Bogota offers safe Sunday cycling on closed roads, the quiet streets of the old colonial town to explore and Monserrate hill to climb.

The coffee zone is beautiful: rolling, lush green  hills, an amazing biodiversity, an array of colourful birds, horse riding, bikes, trekking, day walks and rafting.

Coffee farms open their doors to tourists, and offer the opportunity to pick coffee beans and learn the process. Many also offer "get away from it all" accommodation with garden hammocks.

The Caribbean coast has pristine islands and beaches for swimming, fishing and snorkelling. In addition are the historical colonial attractions of Cartagena and Santa Marta towns with many museums, forts, and ice-cream shops!

The superb Lost City Trek is suitable for active kids that can walk for four days (or ride a local mule).

Tayrona Park is a tranquil tropical paradise. You can have a whole bay to yourself.

Combination destinations

Colombia can be combined with Peru or Ecuador.

In Peru you can trek the Inca Trail to the Machu Picchu ruins, do some downhill biking, rafting and canoeing on our action packed: Peru Family Holiday.

Want some rainforest action? No problem - we have teen and child-friendly holiday itineraries. More mountains? Try our flexible Family Discovery Trek in the Cordillera Blanca.
