Our Galapagos wildlife holidays and tours will get you up close to some of the most amazing animals and plants in the world.
Choose a Galapagos island cruise or opt for staying at hotels on a land-based wildlife tour, to see the top sites of this stunning archipelago. Either way you will see plenty of wildlife with detailed explanations by expert naturalist guides.
The Galapagos are remote islands off the coast of Ecuador. They are home to unique marine, land and famous bird species such as the Galapagos finches. These little birds inspired Darwin’s theory of evolution. Each island has its own unique collection of species adapted to the surroundings. Studying the wildlife of Galapagos has contributed enormously to scientists’ understanding of the natural world.
Discovering the Galapagos on a wildlife tour brings you in face to face contact with the full range of weird and wonderful creatures. Much of this unique Galapagos wildlife is fearless due to the lack of natural predators. You’ll see giant tortoises, salt spitting marine iguanas, lumbering land iguanas, Galapagos penguins, waved albatross, blue and red-footed boobies, frigate birds, all sorts of Galapagos finches. These are some of the rarest and most wonderful creatures on the planet.
Each day, as you discover Galapagos, includes walks along the shore, over volcanic rock and hiking up the volcano on Isabela. Time gently kayaking allows a good look into the crystal-clear waters from above. Jump into the water and you can dive or snorkel with sea lions, turtles and even whales, dolphins, rays, white-tipped reef, whale sharks and hammerhead sharks.
The best specialist Galapagos guides will bring the islands natural history to life on our Galapagos islands wildlife holidays, as they explain the evolution of these volcanic islands now populated by isolated animals and a unique island flora.

The trip was outstanding. No low points at all, even waking up in the small hours to the anchor being dropped after motoring all night was lovely. I think the last day was possibly the best, all through the trip there was something new to see around every corner but there was almost an explosion of wildlife that time. The Mary Anne was first class and the guides were also outstanding. Knowing that we were on a locally owned and operated ship was great.
