A well-organised and professionally handled Bolivia trip, with Andean Trails ensuring a smooth and enjoyable Uyuni Salt Flats adventure despite minor itinerary changes.
I wanted to thank you both for your help with my Bolivia trip with my sister the last few weeks.
I consider that you fulfilled your side of the contract for the tour, even if the itinerary ended up having to be slightly different than planned.
A perfectly organised and thoroughly enjoyable trip through Bolivia and Peru, with friendly guides, smooth logistics, and excellent service from start to finish.
We both thoroughly enjoyed the trip and all went very smoothly – pick-ups, tours, hotels the lot – I think I liked the Uyuni tours people best but it´d be close were it a competition. The staff in the hotel in Puno were probably the most helpful of anywhere but all the hotels were clean and comfortable so we´ve no complaints on the accommodation front and all the guides we met en-route were knowledgeable, polite and helpful.
Thanks for all your help with the organisation you can certainly use every one that you used for us again with confidence. We´ve no plans as yet for more trips but you never know when the wanderlust will hit again and
we´ll certainly keep you in mind.
A fascinating and well-organised journey through Bolivia’s diverse landscapes, with knowledgeable guides, smooth logistics, and unforgettable highlights including Sajama and the spectacular salt flats.
The whole trip was very interesting, and the local organisation was very good. The guides were all very knowledgeable and helpful, and no complaints about any of the hotels.
We were glad we added the Sajama extension – that was one of the most interesting parts of the trip. I would have liked to see a bit more of Lake Titicaca, and maybe visit Tiwanaku.
Overall it’s a well-thought out trip, and you definitely get to see a lot of the country. The place is fascinating – I think any geologist visiting Bolivia would be in heaven – and certainly lived up to expectations, especially the salt flats.
An amazing and seamlessly organised South America trip, with friendly English-speaking guides and unforgettable highlights, especially the awe-inspiring Iguazu Falls.
Our trip was amazing thank you, am still trying to get used to being back!
It’s hard to pick highlights as every place was good, although the Iguazu Falls just did it for me probably as they are so impressive and you get to go right up close to them.
All the tour guides we had were very fiendly and could all speak good English so we didn’t have any problems.
Thank you for all the help over the last few months and helping with all the bookings, flights, etc. We have already started thinking about what our next holiday will be!
A seamless, expertly guided self-drive and trekking adventure through the stunning wilderness of Patagonia.
Fantastically friendly and intuitive on setting up the holiday of a lifetime and very knowledgeable about travel, hotels, tours, expeditions etc. that it would be difficult to find out about and make decisions on without such sound help and advice.
An extraordinary trekking, climbing, and cultural journey through Peru’s Andes and Brazil’s vibrant coast.
We loved our whole trip to South America, it made things so easy for us to have all the accommodation and transfer pre sorted.
Santiago – Great guy transferred us to the hotel and gave us some fantastic information about what we could do and where we could go and the Hotel was first rate with really nice breakfasts.
Lima – San Antonio Abad was a bit hit and miss with their helpfulness but was nice to be close to lots of food places to eat out.
Huaraz – We loved the Hotel Olazas and their breakfasts on the roof. Trekking and Climb – they were amazing and really sorted us for the climb (we could have done with the kitlist though pre trip as we had missed a few things we had to borrow) and trekking Cusco – Hotel Unaytambo was superb. Probs the best hotel we stayed in for friendliness and comfort – Great trip to Macchu Picchu on train and good pickups etc…
Manu – We loved what we saw and where we stayed – the food wasn’t great and the staff were sometimes a bit busy chatting to be helping us but we loved it all the same. A lot of travel time involved but was worth it.
Rio – again great guide/driver for us and loved the city, fant astic hotel.
Again many many thanks!!
A breathtaking Amazon trek filled with wildlife encounters, serene lodges, and unforgettable rainforest experiences.
We had an amazing trek and a great time in the amazon!
The lodges, food and guides could not be faulted. My highlight was the clay lick- a must for anyone going to the amazon. Although we had some early morning i found the lodges a very relaxing place to be.
A heartfelt family trekking adventure along Peru’s Inca Trail, combining culture, care, and unforgettable memories.
We had a wonderful time trekking the Inca Trail. You have always been responsive to what probably seemed like endless questions. Your answers were always patient and understanding. I contacted many outfitters but you were the ones that were able to accommodate our Tuesday start at a reasonable price. We encountered other “mega tours” (a lot of trekkers in a single group) but what you arranged for us was a more intimate experience and we really appreciated it. Thank you and the Andean Trails staff for your hard work in arranging this holiday for my family.
A luxurious and culturally rich trekking experience along Peru’s legendary Inca Trail to Cusco.
It was great , really great , the whole holiday , Thank you for all your help.
A rewarding four-day trek along Peru’s iconic Inca Trail, culminating in the awe-inspiring Machu Picchu.
We would definitely use you again and most likely to Patagonia, though next year we are likely to stay in Europe!
Thanks again, we thought you worked very hard for us and are very grateful to you.
An inspiring Peruvian adventure blending trekking, wildlife encounters, and rich cultural discoveries from Colca Canyon to Machu Picchu.
We had a wonderful experience – highlights were Colca Canyon – well worth an extra day soak up the atmosphere walking in the valley, condor viewing (saw loads), Monasterio de Santa Catalina, both treks and of course Machu Picchu.
An unforgettable cultural journey in Peru, combining authentic experiences with exceptional food and hospitality.
An extraordinary Inca Trail trek in Peru, marked by outstanding guides, incredible food, and unforgettable memories.
The Inca Trail trek was amazing, thank you. The porters and guide were excellent and I was very impressed with the food that they managed to produce. A brilliant trip, something to remember forever.
A fantastic Inca Trail trek in Peru, guided by friendly experts and enriched with great food and seamless camping.
Loved the Inca Trail – Diego, our guide, was great – very friendly, knowledgable and professional. The camping kit, food etc was excellent.
A memorable trekking adventure to Machu Picchu, with excellent guiding, delicious food, and unforgettable camping experiences.
I had a great trip, really good time on Machu Picchu. The camping aspect was really good, food was amazing the entire time. The guide was really helpful and did a great job, considering he was only one with the 10 of us.
A flawless Peruvian journey combining the spectacular Inca Trail with an unforgettable Amazon wildlife adventure.
Everything worked perfectly: folk were there to pick me up when they should have, lodges were great, food included was delicious, flights all worked and were on time, the list of “things to bring” was accurate (and welcome), the Inca Trek was strenuous but spectacular, the Amazon was fantastic (that eco lodge was so unusual, but so worthwhile)… all in all, nothing went wrong and everything went just right.
What a pleasure – a million thanks to you (and Tom) and Andean Trails. I’m happy to endorse you guys any day of the week and of course, will never stray further than your website for any future journeys to that part of the world.
Cheers and thanks again.
An exhilarating Peruvian adventure blending biking, trekking, and rainforest exploration for the ultimate cultural and wildlife experience.
I had a truly amazing time in Peru and loved every minute of it! Everything went to plan apart from having a little crash on the mountain bike trip, the Inca trail was phenomenal and the rainforest trip was also really special- I would have liked to stay there for a bit longer though! Thanks again for all of your help in organising my trip, I’d have no problem recommending Andean Trails to other people.
An exhilarating downhill mountain biking adventure in Peru, flawlessly organised for the ultimate adrenaline-filled experience.
Highlight: Mountain bike trip – I am a big mountain biker and the downhill was excellent! Overall organisation was excellent. Would not change anything.
A luxurious and culturally rich Salkantay trek in Peru, filled with breathtaking scenery, warm company, and exceptional guiding.
So difficult to settle back into life after that amazing experience! Everything far exceeded my expectations – what amazingly friendly people we have encountered – and fantastic food, such a shame that at altitude I had no appetite! I think the highlight of the trip was the Salkantay Lodge to Lodge trek, this was pure luxury all the way and the guides were quite amazing. The group we travelled with were fantastic, everyone willing to walk at the same speed and enjoy each others company.
A rewarding trekking experience in Peru’s Andes, featuring excellent food, welcoming accommodation, and breathtaking mountain views.
The trek was excellent and I’m really happy with everything. The food was excellent, with good variety and not too many cheap carbs like some treks. Accommodation in Huaraz was excellent, Olazas guesthouse was cute, clean and the staff really helpful.
A stunning and challenging trek in Peru, made unforgettable by excellent guides, great company, and breathtaking scenery.
The trip was great. The group got along very well, and the trek was beautiful and quite a bit more challenging than I had expected. The guide, cook, and donkey drivers were all excellent. Didn’t expect to have quite so many livestock along the way though!
