I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Peru. You did an excellent job in picking our tour guides
and activities. The guides were all well informed and their operation was excellent. They were prepared for us and told exactly what we needed to bring for each activity. Their equipment was all in great shape and had our safety in mind. They were very efficient in set up and break down. The food was wonderful and plentiful.

The Cusco leg of our journey was awesome. It was perfect being able to take things at our pace and not worry about anybody else’s schedule (and we were all feeling 🙂 Our guide and driver were fantastic and we all really enjoyed the horse riding, rafting and biking! Machu Picchu was incredible. The Vistadome train was fun too.
The Amazon was great. Thankfully the weather was sunny (though very warm) so we were able to do all the activities. The childrens programme was well organised. The children learnt so much about the jungle and got to dye t-shirts and find treasure…good times.

Guides were excellent and two guides for 6 of us was right as it enabled one guide to assist with when anyone needed some assistance . They were attentive and helpful and knowledgeable. Cooks/Camp Boys Food was very good and often cooked under difficult conditions, good humour and a cheery smile was always present.

We had a fantastic time in Chile generally and in Patagonia especially. Everything went smoothly and we didn’t have any problems. The trip to the Perito Moreno was amazing, too. Everyday was amazing, whenever we thought the holiday must have peaked, we did something even more fabulous the next day. My top 3 are: that full day of mountain biking in Imbabura, climbing Rucu Pichincha and the white water rafting. Brilliant accommodation: beautiful boutique hosterias, excellent guides, perfect organisation. Never any delays, never felt messed around…impeccable.

It was all fabulous. The accommodation was a little rustic but that was part of the charm. High point – the dive in the bay at Isabella – turtles and sealions.

It was an amazing trip and we are definitely going back. Some positives – the two mule handlers who were trekking with us were so sweet and lovely and although spoke broken English made every attempt to talk to us, Esteban was great (really fantastic and we developed a great rapport with him by the end), the walk (although hard!)was amazing. The scenery in Bolivia was amazing too and we had the loveliest guide, Freddie, took us on the Las Cornisas trek in Chile. Apart from Salta the accommodation was great…we even survived the camping!
On counting on the flight home, between us we had a couple of thousand photos – lots of memories! Thanks for all you help in planning out trip, we really appreciated it!
