Urus Morraine, Cordillera Blanca, Peru
Three fantastic peaks from the same wonderful campsite.
Refresh skills and ramp up the thrills as the climbs get bigger.
Climb with the best, professional, fully-qualified guides in Peru's Cordillera Blanca.
Wonderful mountaineering experience in the high Andes.
It was a really wonderful trip, we both enjoyed it tremendously, the highlights were getting to the top of 2 mountains.
I found both ascents quite demanding, but it was exhilarating to reach the top and be rewarded with tremendous views.

I would rate the Guide as 10/10, or maybe a 9/10- really excellent.
The cook was great also, as were the donkey drivers. Thanks for setting us up with such great people. The food was very good, 9/10. Maybe a few more potatoes than we bargained for.
The highlights were probably the summits, although the rest days after the summits were very nice.

The accommodation was fine - we had a very spacious tent, and Olaza's B&B was very nice to come back to after a few days camping. The food while camping was really great, the cook Manuel performed miracles! Rodolfo was a really excellent guide, he was very patient with me, he was very good company, and he organised everything extremely well.
Thanks very much to you and to Kathy for putting the holiday together for us. It was a great experience and I am certainly looking forward to going back for more!

The Kaieteur falls in Guyana are one of the world’s tallest single-drop waterfalls by volume of water. At 226 metres they are almost 5 times higher than the Niagara falls and have an average flow rate of 663 cubic metres per second. They are located in the Kaieteur National Park which is roughly 241 kms south-west of Georgetown within the Pakaraima Mountain Range. They are also totally off the beaten path and unspoilt. This means that you may be one of only a handful of people visiting when you go – unlike the Iguassu or Niagara Falls. Legend …
