It was a really wonderful trip, we both enjoyed it tremendously, the highlights were getting to the top of 2 mountains.

I found both ascents quite demanding, but it was exhilarating to reach the top and be rewarded with tremendous views.

    Meet guide, review itinerary, acclimatise, hotel (B)

  • Day 4

    Day hike Laguna Churup (4,500m), return to Huaraz, hotel (B,L)

  • Day 5

    Vallunarau acclimatisation day (B,L,D)

  • Day 6

    Drive up to Pashpa to begin hike to the head of the Ishinca Valley, camping (B,L,D)

  • Day 7

    Urus climb, camping (B,L,D)

  • Day 8

    Rest day (rock climbing or rappelling options), camping (B,L,D)

  • Day 9

    Ishinca climb, camping (B,L,D)

  • Day 10

    Rest day (B,L,D)

    Head to high camp (5,000m), camping (B,L,D)
